Hairless Guinea Pigs

[an error occurred while processing this directive]

Hairless guinea pigs are prized pets; a chick falls into the same category of novelty animals; get photos of either on a pet website. These animals suffer from very few health problems. They have a life expectancy of 4 to 7 years, with 5 being average. Males are larger than females, but do not normally weigh more than two pounds. The male cavy has an outgoing personality while the female is more nervous. Males are more curious; they are always interested in what’s going on around them. Females are more timid, than curious; loud noises and/or unexpected movements may still frighten them. However, females are non-aggressive and can usually be kept together without squabbling with each other, while males will surely argue if kept together.
