Do a little research to learn how to take care of guinea pig baby; there may be a farm or company that raises them exclusively; those would be good places to get advice from. There are many different kinds of these rodents and what you need is a short haired one, because short haired rodents are easy to look after and just as pretty as their long haired cousins. If you decided to buy such an animal, buy at least two of them, because they get lonely on their own. The animals should be of the same sex and the puppies that you choose should be plump and well fed, should have bright eyes and clear ears and nose, and should have shiny, silky fur all over including under the bottom. Buy a small cage for them to sleep and donít forget to prepare a play room for when they are awake. Donít buy an animal of this type if you are not sure that will be able to provide it with everything that is needed. Being herbivores, these animals donít need the intelligence of scavengers. In the wild they survive through the use of effective herd communication and very rapid reproduction, but are able to establish the safest routes and learn them perfectly. They are the common prey for all predators. These animals are always alert and ready to run away. When a herd feeds, one animal assumes the duty of a guard. They can also be trained to perform easy tricks, but only when food is involved and with many repetitions. Do a little research to learn how to take care of guinea pig baby; there may be a farm or company that raises them exclusively; those would be good places to get advice from.
