Cottontail Bunnies

  -

photos, baby

As a rule, females of this species give birth to about 3-9 young in a litter. The young are born blind, naked, and helpless. These creatures grow very rapidly and leave the nest after two to three weeks. At four to five weeks they are weaned and totally independent. Watch the cottontail bunnies photos prior to buying such a baby pet.
