Chinchilla mating is pretty simple; this rodent looks pretty cute in a photo. Gestation period usually lasts for 111 days. These rodents usually breed in winter. As a rule they produce two litters of one to six young. A female should be at least eight months old to be ready for breeding and should weigh 450 grams before they are bred. Chinchilla mating is pretty simple; this rodent looks pretty cute in a photo.
