The Giant Schnauzer, known over history as the Russian Bear Schnauzer is a large, powerful, compact dog with bushy eyebrows, whiskers and a beard. It has a harsh, black, wiry and waterproof outer coat and dense, soft undercoat. The tail is generally docked, cropping the large ears is optional.
